There are car bombs. Could there also be a file bomb, a distant relative to the above, so horrifying in its content that an unintended recipient dies, in this case, suffering a fatal heart attack? The south of France, near midnight. A man, accompanied by bodyguards, has flown in from London, bearing bad news. The news is for a buddy, a very ex-intelligence agent, hiding out in an ancient farmhouse. A dear old London friend, he tells his buddy, has suffered an odd cardiac arrest and died. To compound the mystery, this man spotted, just before their old friend died, three men enter his flat. Two of the men, he could identify as being high up in British intelligence; the third, he couldn't place. Minutes later, presumably after their old dear friend had passed away, those three rushed out of his flat and disappeared into the London night.
